1966 Skylark Pro-touring project
To many projects not enough time!
There was over $100k spent on this build and it was never fully finished. I got it off a friend of mine with big plans to finish it. I am planning to sell it as a roller since most will probably want to do a LS swap. I am also keeping the factory Grand National seats. This would make a nice and easy project to finish. I have all the trim some very nice some will need re-done, paint and body are really nice but paint has a few issues that will need addressed, zero rust anywhere. I have a NOS rear panel trim piece which is really rare and difficult to find. Custom interior really nicely done with custom center console with gauges. Wiring looks decent and is all new. This car actually runs and drives and everything works as it sits now. Rides pretty nice too. I am willing to sell the car whole with the Buick V6 which is capable of making close to 1000hp with the 200r4 transmission.
Complete pro-touring chassis, the frame was custom made square tube from the firewall back with 4 link style rear suspension with a pro-touring style roll bar and full rear tub and 20gal fuel cell 12 bolt rearend Baer brakes and coil overs at all four corners, Power rack and pinion steering and a full Detroit speed front suspension and coil overs. Wheels are off a Corvette Grand Sport 17" with 295s on the rear and 275 on the front. Located in Youngstown Ohio $35000

OK I am going to finish the project, the car will still be for sale as we go and when its finished.....maybe lol!
The Buick V6 is out and sold along with the 200r4
New Trans
New Motor
New ECU and PDM
New whistler to make cool whistling noises lol
I will post more pics once we have motor and trans fit up in the car. Just got the Tinman Fab trans tunnel and LS swap mounts along with T56 bellhousing and Flywheel. The turbo was on my Buick GN and made close to 1200 rwhp on my Buick V6 and ran 136mph in the 1/8. I am leaving the small turbine housing so it should spool really fast with the V8. Also swapping to E85 so will be making some fuel system upgrades.
