Need feedback on CAD model to print emblem

This is my current CAD model and reference photo. The end goal is to have a CAD model I can scale and print for maybe the console and trunk finishing panel.

I'd like to know what looks off to someone casually looking at it so I can make corrections that I'm overlooking:

The scan is pretty close, but these are what I see.

Waist to knees looks off. It may be the difference in coloration but the emblem has a thinner waist, smaller ass and the ass sticks out a bit more. It's like the Impala is running, was caught on tape and the scan was one frame later than the emblem.

Face looks off, the emblem has a line from the horns to the nose that the scan does not. It gives the impression of a face that the scan does not have.

The front legs on the emblem looks like the ring passes between the legs, while on the emblem the ring appears to distort around the legs.

The ring itself is fatter on top and bottom than the emblem, but this may again be the difference in coloration.

If I understand correctly, the scan is based off the picture and not an actual 3D scan of an emblem. Can you get an emblem and actually scan it or get it scanned? Or, I assume this is going on a heavily customized Impala, perhaps instead of trying to duplicate the factory emblem you can design your own.

Thanks - it is a hand render from a 2-D picture. I could scan one but it's very hard to find.

It doesn't have to be a 100% match but I'd like to get it as close as possible before I customize it.
