      Securing Turbo Intake Tubing

      Howdy,

I'm swapping out the stock Grand National intercooler for a FMIC on my Riviera and that means redoing all of the plumbing. Since the LQ4 MAF goes with 4in pipe (I have the inserts that make that work) but the TB is only 2.5in, I need to neck down the size post MAF since I'm going blow-through. I don't like the abruptness of going directly between so am stacking a 2.5-3.0 then a 3.0-4.0 reducer together. To avoid buying a specific coupler as they will butt up against one another I'm thinking about tie-barring the t-bolt clamps together over a straight piece of 4in Al tubing.

      Thoughts?

Something like this work? Seems to be a smooth transition.
