The best thing you can do is go here:
      https://www.ctsvowners.com/

There is a lot of knowledge base here for reference.

As for mods, the easiest is a pulley swap & custom tune.

A lower overdrive pulley is an easy bolt-on.
The upper pulley needs supercharger disassembly for installation.

Depending on the ratio increase, you will need larger injectors as you get more aggressive.

Next is supercharger porting, cylinder heads, camshaft etc.
You can go quite far with these engines... into the 900hp range, where you reach the limits of the supercharger.

Read up on the above site & you will see the options & specifics of each progression.

      What Lonnie said.

The more you overdrive as well, you may need to improve the belt drive as well.

I've done many packages with a pulley & mild cam and it's an easy 640 rwhp, more on E85.

Happy to help with any parts you will need for upgrading or the swap.

Here’s mine with a cam and pulley swap. 6L90E. Sorry I lost the details, it was years ago.

What are the specs of the cam? I would also like to know the pulley size. It's amazing power. Is the automatic 6L90?I'm also thinking of installing a 6L, but is the cut in the floor panel too big? Is there a problem with the pinion angle?

Sorry it was many years ago and I don’t have info on cam and pulley. Yes 6L90E with considerable tunnel mods. I ended up with transmission at 0 degrees but it was an Art Morrison IRS.

Pat G can set you up with a cam, pulley and tune to get the power you want. He is very good.
