      C5/C6 torque tube to Coyote/Godzilla?

I'm contemplating a project that will utilize the complete C5/C6 Corvette suspension, diff, transaxle, and torque tube. However instead of the obvious choice of LSx based engine I'd like to use a 7.3L Ford Godzilla. This has the Ford modular bolt pattern found on the coyote, 4.6, 5.4, etc.

I'm having trouble determining if an adaptor/bellhousing can be utilized to facilitate different engines with the corvette torque tube. Is the stock bellhousing a sbc pattern? Would a sbc to ford modular plate work? Is there a company like Quicktime that can make one?

      Thanks!

The torque tube bellhousing bolts to standard Chevy pattern on the engine.

I used Gamel Street Rods to change the length of my torque tube for my 56 Chevy pickup. They do a nice job. Nice folks.

Does your 56 chevy have an LS/sbc motor or a Ford?

Would something like the Speed gems AP10004 adaptor (ford modular to chevy plate) get me there?

Edit: I'm currently watching Rob Dahm's Rotary corvette build to see how he did that one...

Is your transaxle a manual or auto?

It would be a manual configuration with the t56.

The only swap I've seen with the C5 torque tube is that rotary build; will keep looking.
