      Ac lines sweating terribly

Ac works great but went on a little trip and had to dry out carpet from ac sweating so bad. Drain lines dripping as should outside under car. Actually have two of them since it is an older gen2 vintage ac. Can you wrap the sweating hose with something to keep this from happening or will it mess up the cooling doing so?

You can wrap them with that black sticky insulation tape. Vintage Air sells it. Only metal parts normally need it. If you are sweating excessively it sounds like maybe you have outside air leaking into the cabin.

Typically, severe sweating is an indication of a constant supply of humid outside air. Do you have your kick panel vents completely sealed-off? Also, if you have Astro ventilation, is it sealed off as well? You'll always have a bit of condensation on the lines, but if it's dripping on the floor, you probably have outside air leaks. The system dehumidifies the interior air pretty quickly and that limits how much condensation will build-up on the lines, case, etc. If you have air leaks, especially your kick panel vents, due to their close proximity to the hoses and fittings, you'll have some dripping.
