First Post After Lurking For a Bit...

Greetings Earthlings! I came here (again) to see if I could find an answer to a question* I had. I found myself reading about Mary Pozzi's '73 Camaro build. Dang, that's what I want to do to my big block '69 and my wife's '78Z! (The rotisserie pics are very informative.) But, as always, the lack of time and money get in the way.



My '69 project is in an indefinite hiatus but my wife's '78 is at an interesting crossroads: LS or improve what's in it? Competition Product is close to me and their folks are very helpful. They were suggesting different heads and a roller cam & rockers (I the intake and a few carbs), but I'm leaning LS/4L60 (it has a TH350, low gears and short tires for autocross). What would be the best control system, fix the stock wiring and mess with the ECM of go aftermarket?

* The question: I saw an article in Hot Rod about the first IROC cars (4/21 P10) where Donahue put C3 spindles on the front and brakes on all 4 corners. Are the C3 spindles a "bolt on"? I posted the full question in the suspension forum.
