Switching from Dakota Digital to Speed Hut

Need some help guidance on switching my Dakota digital gauges to Speed Hut gauges. I’m using a Holley terminator x ECU and trying to determine what i need for the ecu to talk to the gauges.

Probably going to have to run the Speedhut senders. I don’t believe there is a “BIM” module for the speedhut stuff.

I've never used or talked to them, but you might look at these guys.

It looks like Holley likes them though, because Holley bought them.

I used the speedhut gauges with GMPP ecu and harness. They plug in to a OBDII port or Canbus signal. You may check with Holley about compatibility, if I remember correctly they want you to use Holley’s version of gauges.

      Custom SpeedHut Gauges

I chose SpeedHut gauges for my 442 convertible project, but I still have the '72 Olds engine so I used the analog senders not OBDII or Canbus. SpeedHut sells speedos in Canbus/GPS/VSS versions and tachs in coil/Canbus versions. My goal was accurate gauges, and add a volt gauge but I also wanted to retain the original look. SpeedHut allowed me to customize the gauge faces to resemble the factory gauges. Here's some pics

These are the oversized 4-1/2" diameter gauges. For a small design fee, SpeedHut allowed me to customize the ticking to fit within the stock bezel.

This is the final result. You can choose from about 30 different day/night color combinations. I chose blue because it more closely matched the Olds dash lighting.

Don't go basing your purchases on what Holley "likes". They were bought out by a private equity firm and are on the hunt for making money, not making people happy.

No worries, I based it on the OP looking for something that will work with his Holley ECU.
