Do you regret not adding a cage during body work?

Do you regret not adding a cage/bar during your project or vice-versa, does anyone with a street car regret adding a cage/bar? Realistically I dont see myself going to tracks a lot, but I would like to try a drag strip. Will I be sad that I can only go 11.50 or slower? Car will see so much more street time, so I was always leaning on no cage/bar.
