If has rust in the trunk most likely has other places. If the bottom of the car is covered in spray can under coating I would be very wary.
I would not buy a car/truck that I couldn't see in person first.
In lieu of that I've contacted car clubs local to the car to do inspections for me. Most were happy to help out for a bit of cash.
