      Hello

      Hi all,

Have a gen 1 1967 Camaro base model that I picked up in Yuma Arizona about 6 years ago. Is original for the most part. In-line 6 and all. Drove it home to Sac and ran great. Been sitting on it for a bit trying to decide what route to go. Needs body work, rust in typical spots, rain well, a post interior, bondo on rear quarters. Recently picked up and LS1 with 4l60e with “40k” on it for an amazing price. Going to go through the motor in the next month or so and start the installation (yes I know, another Ls swap but power/reliability have got the best of me). If anyone knows, has recommendations for good body work in the Sacramento area… please let me know. Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

      Jake

Just from experience and the way I do paint & body for my customers, from the look of those pictures I would completely start from bare metal and do it the right way so you know the paint will hold up another 30 years. But….. once you do that most likely you will find things done badly or incorrectly and it could get costly especially with rust repair and good metal work also. Depends how nice you want everything.

Started tear down on motor and trans. Bought ls6 intake and looking at TSP 18424-brawler-ls6-style-cnc-ported-cylinder- heads. I also purchased the TSP (dumpster fire) 224/228 @.600 114 LSA.

Has anyone ran this cam in NA motor? States that it is good for turbo/Super but don’t have plans to do that currently. Thank you in advance.
