      Wheels on a 1970 Chevelle

      Greetings.

      I am interested in putting a set of 3-piece wheels on a 1970 Chevelle. The tire I would like to run is 305 wide, will this work? I will roll the fender. What's the widest tire anyone has used?

      I believe a few guys have gotten 315s to fit, so the 305 should be possible. I would strongly advise carefully measuring for backspacing and fitment on your own car, though. Each of these cars tend to vary some.
