Hello Everyone, Thanks for the Invite

Hi, I just joined to research build ideas and tips for my first gen 68 Camaro. Its a work in progress and am enjoying both wrenching and driving the car. Car is BBC 468. My immediate question is what spring rate should I use on QA-1 front coil overs on my aluminun head/radiator/intake BBC. I have 500 lb springs ready to istall but not sure if that is too much/little. I get conflicting rate recommendations anywhere between 450 and 600. Car is a street cruiser and looking for comfort over too firm ride. Name: 68 Left Shot.jpg

      Welcome to the site.

Spring rate and ride quality is a very subjective subject. Four different people can drive a particular car and have four different opinions on ride quality. That being said, 500lb springs sounds a little light for a big block.

You might want to start a thread in the suspension forum to get more in depth information.
