Ridetech 4-link pinion snubber?

Anyone running a pinion snubber with their ridetech 4-link in a 1st Gen F-body?



I have a 67 Firebird with Ridetech air ride setup and 4-link. When I put it in reverse and back up (at ride height) there is a clunking sound like the rear end is rotating up and either causing the u-joint to bind or just hitting the tunnel.

I'm just thinking maybe a pinion snubber might keep this from happening but not sure if there's enough clearance for one.

I did check pinion angle and set it per the specs before I welded the brackets on the rear end housing so I think the pinion angle should be ok. I haven't noticed any driveshaft vibration at any speeds, I've had it up to about 70mph on the highway so far.

Ride height is not extremely low. Pics below show the car at the lowest setting, aired all the way down. Don't have a pic at ride height yet.
