      New Guy with a Bandit

Hello all, I am finally getting active on here. I bought my 1979 Trans Am a couple of years ago and I have been using it as a daily driver for about a year. It has a numbers matching 403 that was recently rebuilt, streetgrip suspension from ridetech and YearOne 17" gold snowflakes. My goal currently is to get rust fixed in the interior and to sell the interior pieces I don't need so I can better afford to upgrade some things that have broken or are no longer around such as fully functional AC/Heat/Defrost. I intend to build the interior like a race car and then make it more comfortable to drive than it is now. No AC is rough in the summer and no heat was rough in the winter-I know I won't be young forever so toughing it out has to stop soon haha. I'd love to come to car meets in the Virginia Beach area so anyone who is looking for original interior parts or knows of car meets let me know. I look forward to learning more from everyone on how to build my car to what I dream of it being.

Welcome! My first car was a 1981 Bandit Trans Am with the 301 Turbo. Actually a 4bbl as the previous owner gave me the turbo in a box. I sold it in the late 90's and have regretted it since.
