1967 Chevelle Roadster shop vs stock chassis ride height

I am about to start working on a 67 Chevelle survivor car. The car is 100% stock at this point. I see the roadster shop chassis chevelles with low ride height and tires tucked nicely and I think it looks great. I dont know know that I want to spend Roadster shop money so im wondering if i can achieve this ride height with the stock frame and bolt on parts like control arms and coilovers but also have a nice ride. This car is more of a cruiser so needs to have a nice ride but also need to corner well enough for spirited driving around the street. I plan on running 18s and 19s.

      thanks!

You can do it on a stock chassis. Plan on raising the tunnel to get decent driveline angles. Speedtech has a tunnel. ABC Performance has tubs and frame narrowing kit.

You can get there to that height but the compromises in wheel width, ride quality, and general packaging aren't worth it......to me. Add up the money, I bet it's closer than you think.

Yes as usual Donny is right. On the 65 I did by the time I was done it was likely close to a wash with an aftermarket chassis.
