Quick fuel/octane question
I offset CA 91 with some VP 101 to get to 93+ octane for my first gen Camaro. 4 gal of 101 per tank.
Recently VP stopped providing 101 to the pump near me (HUGE bummer) and they drastically increased their 5 gallon pail prices. However, they still have 110 leaded at the pump and its still at a reasonable price. I am pretty new to classics but not a complete novice. That said, I have no experience with leaded gas outside motox. Since the Camaro has no Cats or 02 sensors, can I use the leaded gas or does leaded gas have a negative affect on any internal components of the motor? Restored big block with hardened components.
Not a street driven car and driven less than 1000 miles a year.
