Kindig Door Handles

Hey guys, has anyone installed the Kindig door handles specifically on a first gen Camaro? I’m kinda disappointed because they are not a fully sealed unit. If I ever wash the car with a hose or take it to a car wash, the door is gonna get a lot of water inside it. I also thought they would have engineered the handle to work better with the door latch. I’ve been watching YouTube videos if install and it seems pretty crude and clunky.

I installed the Tesla model 3 door handles and my only hesitation with it is that I don’t think it has enough throw to fully open the latch. I have to really preload the latch for it to open it. This makes the door handle kinda hard to open because I feel like initially you need some slack to push the handle with your thumb then pull on the handle to open. Hope that makes sense.

Here’s what I’m talking about with the huge hole in the handle. Your thoughts?
