68 Cutlass - Vintage Air Drivers Side Dash Duct Routing
I'm wrapping up a Vintage Air install into my 68 Cutlass, and am wondering what other 68-72 GM A body people have done for routing the duct to the dash vent on the drivers side, left of the steering wheel. Not the defrost, but the one pointing at the driver. Right now mine is going around the bottom of the steering column and I would like to make it less of an eyesore. It doesn't look like going over the top of the column is an option.
Thanks.

12-29-2021 #2Mine is going above my steering column, if I pulled out my gauges you'd see its right behind them. I'm not sure if the '68 dash is much different space-wise but there was plenty to run it in my '72. I removed my entire dash when I did the install though.

Did you use the round flex duct that VA supplied, or did your car have a formed-to-fit plastic duct piece from the factory HVAC?
12-29-2021 #4I used the flex duct from the VA kit.
