What is the physical dimension of the tank?

Is the 11" length the aluminum portion or is it including fittings?

I want to use one of these for my LSA swap but my battery box is slightly smaller.

It's 11x7 1/4, the height steps up from just over 5 1/2 to 6 5/8. With the fittings length bumps up to 12 1/2"

Kinda, it's supposed to drop in to a '05-'10 Mustang battery box but only has a lip on one side at the bottom. I was just going to get a universal battery box that came with straps to hold it in. Thought about getting tabs welded on for mounting but ended up going a different route for my reservoir.
