Transmission filter to pan clearance
I have a polished cast aluminum pan on my th-400 that is deeper than stock. I want to extend the pickup on the filter. Does anyone know how close the filter is supposed to be to the pan? I searched and could not find the answer. Thank you in advance

I shoot for a target of 1/2", minimum of 3/8" clearance (from filter to pan)
