      Frustrated with TCI Engineering. Advise?

Hello all, I have a 67 mustang with a TCI suspension under it. On the rear, I have their original 3-link, and am trying to modify it to work with my DSE mini-tubs. I recently noticed that they came out with a Mini-tub version of the 3 link. After downloading the instructions for it, I noticed a lot of the suspension is the same (they use the same pictures for a large majority of the instructions), and just a few brackets are different. I called them up and talked to a guy that really sounded like I was annoying him. I asked if I could just buy all the brackets that make the kit different than mine, and he told me it can't be done and I needed to just sell my kit and buy a whole new 3-link from them. I am working on a very tight budget (trying to buy more land and build a house) and cant afford to take a hit on my setup and buy a whole new one. I got to thinking, if someone has a wreck that damaged some of their suspension, will TCI not sell them parts? Will they have to buy a whole new kit?

I guess what I am trying to find out on here is, are there any TCI dealers on here that can get me components?

Why not call back and see if you can get someone else? Maybe tell them you have the new kit, but damaged some components?

I would ask for someone else, but this is the feeling i have gotten every time I have ever called. They haven't given me a great impression ever when it comes to "after sales".

As for the latter, I have considered it, but i guess i'm just too honest.

My guess is they build parts per kit so they don’t have extra brackets laying around in inventory.

Their sales system is likely also not set up with the brackets as a sellable item. There really isn’t any need for it.

The reply to a statement like that is that you WILL buy a whole new kit but not a TCI.

Standing behind a product is everything.

Yeah, I cant tell you how many times I have considered yanking all this TCI stuff off there and buying MTF suspension. If I could afford it, I would do it in a heartbeat.
