Hydroboost accumulator issue?

My hydroboost seems like it may have an accumulator issue. After leaving the car to sit overnight, the pedal goes to the floor. Even after starting it, then pushing it, same thing. I need to drive it around and brake several times, which each time gets the pedal feel better until it's back as it should. Then it's perfect for the rest of the drive.

I did recently adjust the pedal so it touches the rubber stop with like barely a mm of slack, but the brakes do not seem to drag when hot or anything. Is it possible that I may have the rod adjusted too tight still, and it causes the system to bleed the pressure out of the accumulator overnight? Or is it a sign my accumulator is on the way out? It's a fairly new unit, not reman.

Or perhaps is it related to opening the system and having air? I recently decided to re-route the return line behind my fender, but my PS fluid isn't foamy and it's at the right level in the reservoir and my steering feels perfect.

Something else I've noticed is the pedal seems to not *pop* back instantly, it takes a second or two. Is that also a sign of something not right, or should I just add a pedal return spring?



Lastly, and I only mention it because it came up in some Google results on the issue, I'm still working on getting my Wilwood proportioning valve dialled in just right. Is it possible that could be affecting any of the above issues?

Sounds like a mastercylinder and or air in the system. Not the accumulator.

Hmm, it's a new Wilwood master that I bench bled the crap out of then used a pressure bleeder on the whole system. I guess I could bleed it again just for good measure.
