68 Camaro sway bar mounting brackets

I have a QA1 oversized front sway bar for my 68 Camaro. The mounting brackets are to large to fit in the stock location. The ear on the bracket hits the coil spring opening in the sub frame. Anyone have pics of theirs?

Have the same set up. One the passenger side, I just wrenched it down and it bent itself into place. But, on the drivers side it ended up stripping out the hole in the frame and I spent most of the day today fixing that. Getting an angle drill that fit in so I could drill out for a helicoil, threading that, installing it and adding som JB Weld for good measure. I’ll be taking an angle grinder to the NEW bracket (because the old one bent) to clearance for the raised area around the spring pocket that I suspect you are interfering with.

The raised area around the spring pocket is what I'm talking about. The bracket ears are longer than the stock ones. Was thinking about drilling new holes and moving the bar forward just slightly.

I wouldn’t do that as it will affect the angle of the sway bar end links. I think taking of a quarter inch or some from the bracket will be fine.
