Eliminator in 1st gen with LT1

Is anyone using the lokar eliminator gas pedal setup with a LT1 ?

If you have any install pics, or throttle cable part numbers that would be great.

      thanks.

I used the lokar pedal made to fit the stock camaro mount holes. it works great. I used the "TPI" cable, it came with the right little end fitting for the LT1 throttle body.

Doesn't that put the cable very high on the firewall?.. any pics?

I'm trying to hide as much wiring etc. under the tranny tunnel .. thru the inner fenders etc. and eliminate holes in the firewall.

Just for refrence did you use the 24" or 36" cable?

I did the same as Steve N. The cable exits the firewall almost directly behind the outboard corner of the valve cover. I used the 24" TPI cable and ended up shortening it an inch or so. If the cable were to exit the firewall much lower get the longer cable, 24" will not be long enough.

What he said. Heres a crappy pic, I guess I need to take some pics of the motor now that its done. all the wires are bundled now, and the throttle cable is clamped to the fuel rail.

I used the factory bracket that came with the engine. Looks identical to the one in Steve's picture as does the cable routing. I looked at the Lokar bracket, but it seemed a little hokey to me. The factory bracket works just fine.
