      Sheltering-in-Place in SF, CA

Hi all, finally signed up for this forum. I have 2 projects, a 1970 Trans Am and a 1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme. The former is a massive project, while also being a daily driver (whether that's 2.5 mi to work through SF, or 3 hours away to Monterey, Fresno, etc in traffic). The latter is our 24 Hours of Lemons car. It certainly doesn't qualify as a pro-touring car, but it's interesting.

Here's a picture of both cars together:

(More at IG: transamrit, hope that's not against the rules.)

      Specs:

      1970 Trans Am
      Pontiac 400 - Original block & crankshaft
      KRE D-port heads
      Ross forged pistons (8.5:1)
Edelbrock Super Victor EFI intake manifold
Cammotion roller camshaft (~0.525 lift, healthy duration)
      Megasquirt EFI
Detroit Speed "Speed Kit 2" front end (rear currently leafs, WIP)
T56 "Tranzilla" transmission rated at 1200hp
      McLeod RXT1200 Twin Disc Unsprung ( :( ) clutch
      2x T3/T4 Turbonetics Turbochargers

Hub dyno'd at a little over 600hp @ 12 PSI before discovering rod knock, due to oil starvation problems a few months ago, caused by a worn distributor gear. Currently out of commission, waiting for time for bearing inspection.

1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham Lemons Racer
Recent mod: 2016 Camaro SS 4-piston Brembo front brakes
      T5 transmission (1986 Camaro)
      350 "junkyard motor" (1977 Corvette)
      Falken Azenis RT615+ tires (245/45/17)
Fully stripped / caged / etc
      Fire suppression system
Stock rear end, probably 30 year old springs.
Recently won Class C in Lemons @ Sonoma

      Both are lots of fun!
