I have checked EVERY tank in hopes that it will increase, but no luck. I have 12,000+ miles on it since September, so quite a bit of highway along with city driving. The D's are ALOT better MPG, but it also cost's more. Just some food for thought.
The 6.0 GTO's get 16-18 around town and 25+ with the manual trans on the freeway. My auto still gets 17+ around town and 21-22 on the freeway.

I have an 04 and I love it. It is a great car and I have a hard time getting fired up about my 69 nova after driving it. The lsx engines are so powerful its a blast to drive. Plus the interior is very roomy and plush. My car gets around 20mph rural city driving. Now if I can only decide between finishing the twin turbo setup on the Nova or a Maggie for the GTO.

Consider one of the new Trailblazer SS's for the family car. I'm considering one myself. 395hp LS2, 20" wheels, suspension tested on the Nurburgring track. With the specials going on right now you can get a fully loaded one with leather and sunroof for $32K. It is also available in all-wheel-drive.

They just came out a month ago.
