      Pro-touring Christmas for me

My wife and I just got back home after spending an early christmas with our families back in Kansas. Anyways, I'm pretty excited about what I got.

I got 2 books: Engineer to win by Carroll smith and Tony Huntimer's book Pro-touring street machines

I also got 2 die cast car models. One is a "Dub City" 68 Camaro Hardtop. It looks pretty neet, but not practical to build (it would have the equivalint of 24"+ wide rear tires on it (20"+ diamter wheels too). But it still looks cool.

The other one I'm not quite so impressed with. Its a 68 Camaro Convertable from "Maestro" or something like that in ther Pro-rides series. Its not made real well, the camaro has a flat finish on it (like it would be primer or something) and ugly looking ground effects. Not to mention the 2 nitrous bottles in the back seat and amps mounted on the backrest of the rear seat. Oh well.. They're both kinda neat to look at

I also got a couple of gift cards from Sears, so I can go pick up a few new tools too.
