anyone that has some spare change left...?

This collection represents the life work of Don Schlag from Green Bay. Don Schlag, a local legend in car circles around Green Bay, started to purchase the parts in the 60s. Don Schlag was a walking parts catalog and a local expert on fuel injection. He would rarely sell the parts he collected and they were stored in the basement of his company, Green Bay Implement. The basement got broken into once, and Don moved the parts into trailers, sealed them and parked some of them back to back so they could not be entered. The parts and cars were not to be seen since the mid 1980s.

Larry Fisette acquired the lot from the estate after Don's passing. One by one, the trailers were opened http://www.depereautocenter.com/fulltrailers.html
and the parts were removed, organized, and categorized.

The cars were cleaned up, the interiors removed, pressure washed and reinstalled. The bodies were cleaned, but no body work was done.

The cars that are available can be viewed here.

A catalog of the parts is being compiled, and it will be updated from time to time.

Currently, we are looking to sell the vehicles and the cars in one lot. We are accepting sealed bids until December 15, 2005. If they are not sold by that time, the collection will be sold part by part, car by car.

Thank you to EVERYBODY that has inquired about this collection, it is exciting to share this story with people who love cars. We would also like to thank all who have flown in from all over the country and everybody who gave us input on the parts and the stories behind this find. A special thanks goes to Don Schalg, who accumulated this collection over 40 years. This is the work of one man who lived for this hobby.
