LQ4 build questions
I have a LQ4, my thoughts was to add LS3 heads, LS3 intake and tbi, cam and headers for a mild build. My question is is there any disadvantages running an older LQ4 engine with the 24x system? Will the newer LS3 tbi work with the older shortblock? My plan was to buy a harness from PSI. Or would I be better to start off with a short lock that uses a 58x system? Thanks

No differnce....some will tell you slightly better timing control on 58x.
I have a 24x lq4(well at least crank and block is) with ls3 heads and a s475 turbo and no issues
