The Big stuff is a nice system and I considered it. I the end I think most systems are good. If you ask around to tuners most preference are by what a guy is familiar with or likes to tune. Locally there are a few guys running the Fast XFI systems and Accel dfi. I thought the fast xfi better fit my needs. I could not find any local tuners who where familiar with the Big Suff or I think I would have used that system.

In the end the guidance from local racer Cal Hartline who I purchased my XFI from was invaluable. He has showed me more in a few minutes that would have taken me days to figure out.

      Dfi

      PT72-

Contact Job Spetter at Turbo People; he is quite the tuner, and relatively local. He is highly reccomended by DFI.

I can tell you that Rob (Force fuel injection) is VERY knowledgeable about EFI, he won’t steer you in the wrong direction or sell you parts that you don’t need. I can also speak first hand about the time issues, the reason most of the projects are late is my fault. I build harnesses for him and I have a full time job building cars. I’m sorry for any trouble I’ve caused with things running late because of me. But Rob is VERY honest and usually won’t run your card until he has all of the parts. I’ve been lurking on here for a while, but this is my first post. I’ve met some of you while on Power Tour and even tuned a couple of cars for members.

Our (Jagarang's project) delays were not wire harness related, but they do seem to be subcontractor related. It is a shame when this happens to what might otherwise be a good business. Unfortunatly, our agreement was with Force, not the subcontractor. He did return Kevins money after nearly a year of not being able to finish the intake, and once we get reimburssed for the abortion of a intake his subcontractor did, we will only be out time, not money.

In the meantime, I ended up with a new supplier and now have "The Hookup" on FAST stuff. Got everything done in a few days, and we are now back on the project.

      Jeff,
So I guess you'll be the guy building the harness for my car. You better do a good job!! I'm working with Rob on a fuel injection set up for my car. I just e-mailed him the measurements he requested along with some pics.
I understand what its like to work on the side along with your full time job. As long as I have the harness by the end of May, so I can do the Power Tour the first week of June, I'll be happy. But I'm sure I'll have it way before then.
Thanks for chiming in on this post. I've spoken to Rob on many occasions for a half hour at a time or more. Very knowledgable and very helpful, heck he hasnt taken one cent from me yet! He was just telling me how he tuned the new Baldwin Motion Camaro. What a car!!! But for $427,000, I'd rather build something of my own and keep the change!!
Thanks again, I'm sure I'll be talking to you soon. Maybe I'll see you on the Power Tour this year.

      John
