Cam sensor question - LS3 with 1x cam gear

I have read a lot about this but most don't answer my question directly. I have an LS3 using the early ECU with 24x crank and 1x cam sensors. My cam sensor is an ACDelco 12591720 and it's the "only" one I can find and I believe it's correct for both 1x and 4x cam gears (located in front cover). I have read where some say if I have a 1x cam gear I need the dark colored sensor like the crank has. The 12591720 is tan in color. (and says "made in China" which I hate to see from ACDelco). I can't find any other sensor for the front cover other than this one.
My car starts oddly at times and I need to verify I have the correct sensor. Thank you

I'm using a similar set up as yours and I replaced my cam sensor that was originally black with a tan covered one. My car runs fine with no issues. I'm using the e40 ECU on my set up, if your car has issues starting you may be using the wrong cam sprocket on your car. There are two different cam sprockets for the 24x system.
