      LS3 intake cover question about painting it

      I'd like to paint the intake manifold on my LS3. The rear runner has that flat spot I'd like to get rid of it. Should I try to fill it or are there aftermarket replacements that don't have that flat spot? My searches haven't turned up much. Picture shows the area I'm talking about circled in red. Thanks.
