RST neutral rattle and chtater below 2000rpm - possible causes?
My '69 Camaro with LSX454, t56 magnum, McLeod RST twin disk with Ram throwout bearing had quite a neutral rattle and chatter in any gear below 2000rpm. Setup has about 1200 miles on it. Above 2000rpm it was very smooth with no issues.
The car is now torn apart for updates and I was wondering if other McLeod RST owners had similar issues? I'm debating on getting a new LS9X clutch kit from Katech or re-installing the same RST along with different motor mounts and re checking all alignments and giving the RST another try. Thank you.
