Nova C4 front sub

Hey guys my buddy Josh is looking at this ( http://www.jimeasechassis.com ) front sub frame for his 66 Nova. This is going to be a PT car. Let me know what you think before he blows $3500. If anyone knows of a better way to go please let me know.

the upper control arm mounts may interfere with headers. pretty decent price.

Headers look like they would be an SOB or not possible at all.

I should have let you guys know that this is going to be a LSX T56 car. I'm not sure if that is going make it less or more difficult to fit headers. His original front is no longer useable, and this is the only one we have found that is a decent price and doesn't use mustang II parts.

Be wary of companies that claim the impossible. The website says you shed 300lbs off the car, and gain ridgity.
You may shed 300 lbs off the car if your Nova was orginally equipped with a lead frame.

I'm with you Tyler. Those Nova's are already very light in stock form. A loss of another 300 lbs plus the weight of the LSX vs SBC would make the car super light. I'm thinking he MIGHT lose 300lbs with the front sub and the LSX.

Tyler to do you have any swap parts yet for Nova's? Cross member won't be needed but everything else will be.

These days I don't see any reason to go with a C4 suspension when C5 is available, and much better. Unless if the C4 geometry has been changed, of course...
