Reproduction fenders for 1968 C10

[79 Camaro]

Evening all,

I'm in the middle of the metal/body work stage of my 68 C10 build. I've never done any body work prior to this project. A local body shop that I've used before is letting me do all the basic filler sanding with their supervision.

So my question is due to my totally rust free right front fender. It has a dent near the hood hinge area that we have worked at pulling out with a stud gun but the body guys are saying it can be used but will a aftermarket fender give better results?

As you guys have been building your trucks have you used the latest aftermarket fenders? Do they line up to the hood and door lines without major cutting and hacking?



Can you recommend a supplier if you have used aftermarket?
