LS 98-02 Camaro Rear Brake Swap on 68 12 bolt O-Type Rear

Anybody done a swap of 98-02 LS Camaro brakes on the 1968 Type O 12 bolt (12 bolt cover 10 bolt ring gear) rearend using the BRP Hotrods or similar disk brake swap spacers? Will these spacers work on these Type O rears with bolt in axle retention verses the c-clip Chevy 12/10 bolts? The 4 bolt backing plate the same as Chevy? Any issues with rotor spacing, bolting Camaro backing plates on or with the machined OD of the axle hub fitting the ID of the LS rotors? Is this as easy as swapping on the Chevy rears which is pretty straight forward? Also, wanting to hook up the e-brake cables. Thanks

guy named Tobin is top notch.

I too would like to,do the LS fbody rear disc and parking E brake. Time, cost and labor is the only thing stopping me. Presently I have 1983-1987 G body front discs mounted on rear. Works great but no parking E brake.

The O axle flange has a larger bolt pattern than the Chevy axle, so the LS1 brakes won't bolt on.
      Measurements from the internet
      O axle
      top bolt holes - 3.5"
      lower holes - 2.875"
top to bottom holes - 2.375

      Chevy axle
      top bolt holes - 3.125"
      lower holes - 2.687"
top to bottom holes - 2.437

Tobin has the brackets for the Olds type O rear end. He made some for me a couple years ago for C5 calipers. Call kore3 I'd be surprised if he can't help. If not check the classicoldsmobile.com to see what guys are doing for rear discs
