      4.0 Whipple fitment

      Hi,
I have a 67 Camaro with a 2 inch cowl hood, DSE sub-frame, and LSX motor. Has anyone been successful in adding a 4.0 Whipple under the hood? I'm okay with modifying the inside of the hood but i don't want to replace it or have the blower sticking out. Any pics or advice is greatly appreciated.
      Many thanks in advance!
      Kris

Did you end up getting any pics/answers in your searching? Just trying to see if I'd end up in the same boat

It's a 68 with a Speedtech subframe but it will give you an idea.

Thanks, I wonder if the it would have fit under a 2inch cowl hood or if the 4inch was needed?

From that angle, it looks like the s/c sits at most, maybe 1" above the top of the firewall at the cowl area. So might fit. But the engine mounts being used and the front/back location of the motor would have an affect. That snout/pulley area could cause an issue at the hood line if the engine was located further forward than others??
