Adjustable Proportion valve design.

Are the typical adjustable valves like Wilwood etc. Just a needle valve ? Reason for asking is that I have a 1/4" stainless 6000psi Hoke needle valve in my shop. If this can be used I don't see any reason getting another one.

I will not or don't have any intetnions of doing a short cut. I found the speedway motors valve http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...alve,1979.html and it made me thinking. I also saw a valve of same design as the one on link i posted. (The small one on bottom of page) fitted to a camaro a few weekends ago.

phew ...I've heard too many stories of short cuts and it hasn't had good results , best of luck with whatever you do hope everything works out
