Gem rust coating

Hey,

Have another project in the works and mostly lurk, but thought I'd tap the knowledge base here.

After media blast, the fab shop uses a product called Gem Rust Killer to prevent flash rust as it is very humid here. They say after body work is complete, it can be epoxy primed and provides a good surface to do so.

Has anyone done this with Gem or similar iron phosphate product?

I ask because a different dustless blaster said he epoxy primes the car after blasting.
