The Length's Us Car Guys Will Go To Rescue a Treasure!!!

We have a VW Westfalia Camper Van that is a project in waiting right now for my youngest daughter. For some reason she is fascinated with vintage VW vans.

I really don't know crap about VW's so I have really got myself into new territory. A "new" VW friend sent me this video of a guy in France who found a bus in the French Alps that had been sitting 40 years in the woods. The guy was able to purchase the bus the next day after finding it and watch the story of his efforts to get the bus "Off the Mountain"!

This is what being a "Car Guy" is all about!

      Enjoy!

Very cool. I love when people are passionate about these old cars enough to go lengths to bring them back to life.

I'm just glad the owner of the property decided to sell the VW instead of letting it rot away in the forest like most car hoarders would have done.

Great story, glad to see another car back on the road, instead of rotting away.

That's cool! Just shows that car people are car people regardless of the part of the world you live in.
