Just put US Mad Bandit wheels on 77 Grand Prix SJ

I just installed US Mag Bandit wheels, 18 X 8 w/ 255-45-18's on my 77 Grand Prix SJ. Lowered it about 2", used drop spindles in the front and some cargo coil type springs I had hanging around in the rear. The springs came out of a 71 Chevelle parts car I had many years ago, interesting that stock height Chevelle rear springs work perfect as drop springs for the Grand Prix. Very happy with the quality of these wheels, was pleasantly surprised to find an aluminum center cap, rather than plastic. I chucked the caps in the lathe, machined the logo out of the cap into a recess, that I fitted with a Pontiac wheel emblem. Admittedly this is more slow touring than pro touring, but it's a great cruiser when not using my Chevelle, shown here https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/...ht=#post597552 Hoping to send the GP to paint soon, going to lose the vinyl top when I do.

Have any pictures of the Grand Prix with the Bandits? Thinking of putting them on my '68 GTO

Found the emblems on Ebay. If you don't have anyone local to machine the caps I could do it if you wanted to send them to me.

Nice Grand Prix. 400 car? 350 or 301? We can cure the slow part with the Pontiac engine that is in it. I just put the 578 hp 350 Pontiac engine in my Grand LeMans. much better now.
