Not sure why guys don't like the bulkhead. Even DSE uses them and supplies them with their battery relocation kit. Put a protective cap on it and you are good to go.
Also curious if DSE uses a relay for the starter cable. I am pretty sure GM does not use one for the trunk mounted batteries in the 5th gen Camaros.
