I know where you've been! My '67 FB convert was painted this past weekend and we assembled it this evening. Should be bringing it home Friday!

What engine and drivetrain are you going to run?

From what I've heard, that depends on the spring perches. Stock GM mono/ multileaf perches do, DSE style perches don't. I could be wrong, but that's what I've heard.

Yep, got a 76 firebird convert as well.

I heard of another guy building one form an engine stands as well, but I was a little unsure. Of course I just read that new 1969 camaro vert body that is being repoped is only 900 lbs.

E mail me at [email protected] with any info you have.

      Thanks!

Looks GREAT Bill, Im purple with envy lol.
Johnny, if youre going to stick your vert on a rotisserie, especially without the doors, you need to brace it up well beforehand.

A lot of people are worred about using eng stands mine was transpoted 3 times around town and my buddy sprayed undercote in the trunk & I got it blasted then spun the dam thing over & over for hours getting the garnet out ( I think hope I got all of it out). The rotisserie Stands did crack & would need welding if used again but lasted ok.

Pressed bushings on rear of car that was fun (NOT)

Good luck with the 67 Also cont cars are heavier and can take the spin.
