9 inch center section leaking.

Permatex makes a sealer called The Right Stuff. It is a gasket sealer to replace a gasket. I had an oil pan leak . I had to pull the motor way up in the air and remove the trans, scatter shield to get it high enough to clear the cross member. Still had the leak. I cleaned all the surfaces with good lacquer thinner. I ended up cleaning the pans sides with brake clean and then lacquer thinner and put this stuff along the sides of the pan. It doesn't leak any more. Also used it the same way on my leaking 9" and no leaks so far! It looks terrible on the yellow pan but I will put up with it till I have to take something apart.
