72 Mustang Needs New Rims and Tires

So the old Magnum 500's and worn out bf goodrich radial t/a's are far past their lifespan and I'm looking for a new setup!

Looking for something wider in the rear (275/60r15's now), thinking 315/35r17's Nitto NT555 g2's(living in Vancouver it rains a lot so really liking the rain ratings on this tire):

These will be the first rim/tire setup I buy, so looking at your guy's opinions on staggered sets, how big of a front tire I should get and what you think would look good on my car. I'm liking the look of the bolts around the perimeter of the rim (like in the pictures) and I want a deep dish rear wheel if possible. If anyone has any ideas, insight on which rims would fit these tires, or similar looking rims I'd really appreciate the help!

Look at a 17 x 8 for the front and run a 245 or 255, offset will be straight up "0". The rear, I would go 17 x 9 with "0" offset and run a 285/40/17 in the Nitto 555's. Tire diameter is around 26 inches and you get the width you want. You will have to measure from the face of the mounting face of the drum or disc in the rear spring and out to the fender lip to see if the 315 will fit.

Thanks for the reply! I have been super busy with school so will have to measure for the 315's in a bit. What is your opinion on different sized rims in the front vs the back? ie: 17's in the front 18's in the back? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Do you want a larger variant of the Magnum 500 wheels? What's your budget? These larger wheels get wicked expensive.
