      No-Go Nico's 66' Chevy II

I thought it would be cool to document the build of my 66 Chevy II! When I started the search for my 2nd gen Chevy II I was looking for a solid body that I can make my own by upgrading the drivetrain and interior. I got lucky and found this black beauty in the backwoods of Covington Georgia! Restored to original condition about 3 years ago by Barry

She looks great but rides like a shopping cart and leaves something to be desired in the power department. She has a numbers matching 283 with a non-original column shift TH350(originally a powerglide) and an 8.5" 10 bolt rear.

Looking to upgrade the engine, transmission, rear end, front and rear suspension, and wheels. Will also remove the spilt bench in favor of 1966 bucket seats and a center console! I will be selling the engine/trans, rear end, wheels and front bench - all in phenomenal condition. PM if interested!

      Thanks for looking!

      WOW! Nice build.

That's some smooth black paint. And I love the red interior.

Awesome build! Did the 9" come direct from TCI with torque arm brackets?

Appreciate it! No, the brackets were sent to the builder for welding. I didn't get the rear from TCI.

You can order a Currie 9" direct from TCI with the brackets installed if you want..
