      Muffler flow question

      I was wondering the other day, Is there a scale that the Muffler Industry uses to rate the flow of mufflers?


      Seems like there is a flow rate for most systems but the exhaust.




      I had experimented years ago with a shop vac and a ball in a tube but it was very rudimentary.


      I should whip up a test stand again.
      The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!
