      Time to roll the fenders

My 67 Camaro with ridetech front suspension including tru turn with a 275x18/35 on a 9.5 rim.

I was able to get it to fit with the front rubbing the frame slightly.

Now my issue is with the fender cause i really want it to tuck inside just a smidge.

I could use these on the back and get a some 8.5 with a 265 tire, idk maybe that would be better..

What do you guys think is this a flat tire just waiting to happen!

Tire will rub and not cut like rear wheel well most likely, but , hard cornering could be disastrous. Your could loose steering traction when outer tire rubs in a hard turn. And , while 275 does stuff the rear fender well, The inner edge can tear chunks from your outer tire face when compressed in motion. ( unless you have tubbed to allow more offset than 5.5 inch on 9.5 inch wheel. I did a lot of research on this, and consensus is largest widths to clear are 275 on 9.5 rear wheel and 245 on 8 front wheel. I went a little under on my 67 Camaro at 265 on 9.5 and 235 on 8 and trimmed 1/8 in on rear fender lip. Rear tire has 1/2 inch clear on inner and outer face, and front stays clear of fender outer lip at full turn. ( rear offset 5.5 front 4.5 )

My BS is set at 6 with this config.
I just dont know how ridetech can make a 18x10 with 5.75BS work.
I have ridetech control arms, spindles/truturn, coilovers and sway bar.
A 10in wheel with 5.75BS in my case would stick out of the wheel and barely grazed the sub frame.

I just may have to get a after market subframe cause i want to run a big tire

I have tried BS 5.5 to 6.25 and 5.5 is best to clear for turning, but leaves the wheel in line with the fender lip.

      The tire looks straight up.

You should align it with about -1.25 degree camber and then check it.
That will make a lot of difference.

I'm with Randy on this one as far as camber. You can also use a piece of hardwood 1x4 trim board to roll the inner fender/fender lip to gain a bit of clearance.

You might also think about doing something like this to the outside of the wheel-well --> https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/...sickT8)/page25

I saw that looks like an option that or just get a speedtech subframe!

I put more camber in it but im still ways away from any real clearance.

I'm running 18x10 275s with a 6.6" bs and don't have any fender rub with a DSE sub. Not sure that is any help to you other than the fact that the fenders and liners are unaltered and will fit a 275 tire with the right BS wheels. As I recall ridetech is running 18x10 275s on the front of the 48 Hour Camaro but you would need to contact them for BS info. I'm not sure you can successfully roll the front fenders like you can the rear.

Your DSE subframe was designed with tire clearance in mind. The stock OEM subframe not so much.
My 9.5 rim with 5.5bs just kisses the frame on the back of the wheel just like ridetech states. However, the front of the tire with anymore than 5.5 bs will hit the ridetech muscle bar. That 48hr camaro had to have some fender work to fit a 10in rim and tuck it inside the fender.

What subframe are you using cause a DSE or any aftermarket subframe will have tire clearance built into the frame, thus allowing it more backspace on the wheel.

My issue is with full ridetech gear on a OEM subframe not tucking inside. I have plumb bobbed both sides and they're dead on. The subframe has been pinned for alignment and its dead on.

Well, instead of spending a bunch of money i dont have on a new subframe.
I debating on just using these wheels on the rear, i have no desire to mini tub this car. Then buying a couple of 8.5's and running a 265 tire with some neg camber. One inch narrower with 5.5bs should put it inside the fender.

How much camber? -1 to -1.5 deg will move the wheel a lot....
