      Brake pad choices for autocross.

I've got a 70 Chevelle with Baer 6p calipers with 14" rotors up front and SS4 with 13" rotors on the rear. The current pads are a little wooden feeling. I talked to Ron a while back and he had suggested Hawk DTC-30 pads. This was many moons before I even got to the body work and a lot of other things. I'm planning (car still isn't finished) on hitting the local autocross at the end of the month and just looking for insight on what people are using for pads. I see Hawk now has a Street/Race pad out that seems like a direct replacement for the DTC-30. Has anything else shown up on the market that would be a better choice? How's the dust and noise compared to the DTC-30?

Never tried the DTCs yet. I've been using the HP+ pads with my Baers on a C4 Corvette
